Welcome to Battle Books Military Research

The site is being populated at the moment and should be fully functional by February 14th

Battle Books Military Research, is a division of the Great War Aviation Company.

Over the last 12 years we have devoted our time researching Australians in the military.

We will search the National Archives of Australia for any documents relating to your service person and have a copy made of them. Based on what we find there and from the many other sources we access, we will complete a report on your service person which will be supplied on a CD. This allows you to pass on your ancestors research easily to other family members.

For $50 (postage extra) your completed CD will include a summary of Events and Information which outlines your service persons career, a copy of the service persons Service Record (if available), and if applicable a Red Cross wounded or missing report, casualty forms and citations for any campaign or gallantry medals that your service person was awarded. Conflicts prior to 1914 may consist of a typed transcript of the service person records and any other documentation that is available. A payment of $25 is required before any research work conducted.

Depending on what we find, we can if you require, compile a comprehensive report at a price to be agreed.

We also research Australians that served in British forces during the Great War and World War 2 with a minimum search fee of $40 payable in advance.

To obtain a free no obligation quotation just contact us with as much detail as you can provide, for example, Number rank and name. Date and place of birth. Where did he live, was he killed in action or die for any other reason.
